Yes, serial blast again rock the cities, they have again targeted the headlines of the newspaper and the breaking news topic on almost all the Television channels. Two back-to-back plots in Bangalore and Ahmedabad have once again multiplied the fear factor and heightened security all over India. How do we coin these unabated blows? Is it a consequence of communal politics or just another serial blasts planned sophisticatedly. Explosions, bloodshed, pain, misery, killing, moaning of lives has become the agenda of today. These brutal minds have claimed innocent lives and not even spared the hospitals this time. They have effectively made lives despondent for many. Can you imagine how horrifying the scene must have been when injured from the first site were being taken for treatment to the trauma center where the second bomb exploded.
It is definitely not the beginning unit in the series of serial bombings. The indelible scar left after the coordinated terror plots on the suburban trains in Maharashtra still leaves the witnessers traumatized. These unprecedented senseless killings leave no good rather than aggravating communal conflicts. We can estimate the number of deaths but can we approximate the lifelong pain and fear caused by these orchestrated blasts? Come on let’s be genuine and accept the grim reality that even if we want we can’t subside their anguish, but mourn for the souls of those who were unfortunately a part of this deadly plan.
The Indian government, intelligence agencies, State government of Gujarat and the State Police have been acknowledge as colossal failure. A day after the Bangalore blasts, Ahmedabad was hit by similar blasts, now what do we call this, inefficiency, a casual approach by the State Police, whose cops are just busy in security of political matters, controlling dharnas and demonstrations. Well, without any delay lets accept the stark facts that our security forces are not trained enough to secure us. India is prone to more attacks, claiming more lives. Our ministers, our caretakers, are busy putting bribery allegations and after such evil attacks they start playing the blame game. Yes, they definitely play their other role substantially well by raising more funds for better training of the security forces. But eventually this money lands up in the Lok Sabha where parties are busy in the inculpation game.
I personally feel that time to take charge has come. If the security guards are not carrying their duties up to the mark, isn’t it an obligation on our part to ring a bell. But we, the public instead of assisting the security agencies want to escape the inconvenience caused due to strict dealings. The dire need of the hour is to team up with the security agencies in combating terrorism. If they feel hassle-free at some point of time, we got to step in, so that they become conscious of the reality that our nation is still jeopardized. A simple move like going and asking a cop to check an abandoned bicycle bearing a tiffin-box can stir up the cop, who was not even bothered to see the bicycle lying deserted ever since. We don’t take note of such petty things but this lack of wakefulness can dish up as keynote in the opponent’s planning.
These deadly blasts are a wake up call for the Youth of India. Let’s unite and not allow the charts and the planning’s systematized by the anti-social elements to be a triumph. This write-up has been structured after going through the editorial of Times Of India and Hindustan Times but it is undeniably the voice of India.
